How FurReviews earns commissions while keeping reviews independent

FurReviews is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

What this means in practice

When you click a link to Amazon from this site and buy something, we receive a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had gone to Amazon directly.

We do not accept payment from brands for placement, for a higher score, or for inclusion at all. No manufacturer has reviewed, approved or paid for anything published here.

The conflict of interest is real and worth stating plainly: a site funded by commissions has an incentive to tell you to buy something. We try to offset that by publishing what is wrong with each product, and by saying when the cheaper option is the better one or when you do not need the product at all.

What we do not do

We do not reproduce Amazon's star ratings, review counts or prices. The Associates programme's terms do not permit it and prices change too often for a static page to be honest about them.

We do not claim to have tested products we have not tested. Where a judgement comes from the specification, the materials or reported owner experience, the page says so.
